We are pleased and proud to announce the stats from this year's charitible efforts during moe.down:

The moe.down charity golf outing raised $1,400 for the Turin Public Library - congrats to the 39 elite golfers on the green this year! And a big thank you to Jeff Holl for running the golf outing again this, and every, year!

The library also benefitted during the book and school supply drive coordinated by Evan Rosman. Evan reported that 182 books, 6 DVDs, posters and rings were donated, and the library bake sale took in $224.00 as well as $139.60 in donations. Scott's Books of Milford, NH once again put together a book donation for the drive this year. A donation of 100-150 books is headed to the B. Elizabeth Strong Memorial Library, along with an additional donation of 200-250 books going to the South Central Lewis School District. And although we don't have the exact details, six boxes of school supplies were dropped at the school as a result of the school supply drive!

Evan and the moe.down crew would like to thank the Elmont Memorial Public Library (Elmont, NY) for their staff's generosity.  Each year they have contributed books, along with school supplies and items from their summer reading program, that go to both the library and the kid's tent. Evan personally would like to thank all of the fans who have contributed to both the school supply and book drives, leaving behind some goodwill for the people of Turin. And the moe.down org would like to thank Evan for his stellar efforts once again!
