FAQS - MOE. IN A MOE.MENT
Posted: February 28th, 2010

moe. will offer soundboards for sale immediately after each show is over. Each show will be delivered as an MP3 file on 1GB USB flash drives. Each flash drive sports the moe. logo and comes with a lanyard. Just $20!
We have received several questions regarding the sale of the USB drives. Here are some of the most frequently asked ones. We will keep adding to the list as we get them:
Q. Can I go online and purchase the USB flash drive with the logo?
A. Not at this time but maybe in the future. In the meantime, you can visit livedownloads.com to grab our latest show.
Q: Where do I buy it? Do I have to go before the show or can I walk up at anytime?
A: You can buy it at the merch booth. You can pay for it before the show and you will receive a receipt that will let you pick it up after the show. This will be the fastest method. You can also buy it at the end of the show but you will need to wait a few extra minutes for delivery.
Q: Does it work on mac or PC? What if it does not work when I get it home - who do I call?
A: It works on both mac and PC, as long as you can open an MP3 file. You can e-mail usb@moe.org if you have any problems.
Q: Are you going to do this all the time? Can I bring the USB back to shows and get a discount for the same one to get loaded with a new show?
A: We are planning on doing this at every show, as long as the venue allows us to. At this time you cannot bring back the USB. You will need to get a new one for each show.
Q: Are the mp3 files on usb 1GB stick broken up in tracks or is it one continuous stream?
A: The files will be broken down in sets, not tracks. Maybe in the future we will be able to do tracks. As this is a new system, we will have a bit of learning curve.
Q: What if I get home and I can't get the USB to work?
A: If you have any technical issues with the USB, please contact usb@moe.org - this info is on the back of your USB stub, which you should save in the event you may need to provide it.
Q: I thought there might be a picture of me included on the USB, since I was in the front row and the crew was snapping pictures.
A: There just might be! The crew adds several goodies to the USBs each night, including photos, videos and copies of the setlist. The only thing we can guarantee on the USB is the music, not of the extras.
